Mike joined DAVO in 2019, bringing over 25 years of software management and operations experience for companies such as Danaher, IDBS, Quantrix, and CIEE. A graduate of the University of Maine, Farmington, and Thomas College, Mike leads the operations and accounting groups at DAVO. Mike is an avid alpine skier and provides stadium public address announcer services for Maine high school and college athletic events in his free time.
Alan came to DAVO from CashStar, where he led the software engineering team. Now he heads up software development at DAVO and ensures that DAVO offers a high-quality, secure product to our customers. A University of Southern Maine graduate, Alan enjoys spending time with his kids and his dog Kota.
Following a career change from the ski industry to accounting, Beth found her place at DAVO. She brings with her the experience of owning and operating a ski shop in Vail, CO and she understands our merchant’s typical day to day activities. Beth completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Maine, Farmington and graduate studies at Castleton State University. She has been growing her backyard homestead over the past few years and recently started 3R Farms, a rescue and retirement spot for animals.
Many merchants are unaware that they can fully automate their sales tax process and it is Don’s job to get the word out about DAVO’s service. Don brings a marketing and business development background to DAVO from companies including eMusic, Kurado, Tekserve and Micro Warehouse (now CDW). He enjoys skiing with his family, playing guitar, and exploring Maine after moving here from New York City.
Amanda brings extensive marketing experience to the DAVO team. Amanda has worked for marketing agencies and brands and has a passion for helping small businesses. She hosts a regular marketing event assisting local companies in getting better at their marketing. She is also a small business owner who knows all too well how difficult it can be to stay on top of sales tax while growing your business.
Andrea has worked in technology companies in product, operations and sales and owned her own candy business as well. She understands the concerns that small businesses face. With this understanding, and a dedication to product, Andrea works to bring a rich experience to everyone who uses DAVO. Free time is spent chasing around her kid and two dogs.
